World QRP Contest
WQC Rules
Date: first Sundays of February and August (Feb, 3, 2008 and Aug, 3, 2008).
Time: 00.00 to 23.59 UTC
Modes: CW, SSB, Digital.
All licensed Amateurs are welcome. Club stations may take a part if only single non-licensed operator or SWL works at the station.
All HF bands near International QRP frequencies recommended, except for WARC bands. For Digital modes, use upper edge of standard Digital segments.

Categories:
CW - max. 5 watts output power
SSB - max. 10 watts PEP
Digital - max. 5 watts output power
Field - all calls /p, /m, /mm, /am mixed modes, use only battery, solar, wind or any non-nets power supplies.
Exchanges: RST (RS), QSO serial number starting with 001, WW-locator, power. For power use the letter "W" used as decimal point. Example: 5W = 5 watts, 1W5 = 1.5 watts, W5 = 0.5 watts etc.
Points for each QSO are calculated using the formula: N = S / (P1 + P2), N - points, S - distance, km, P1 and P2 - power of both stations, w. No multipliers. Count the points for only claimed periods.
For distance calculates "N9SSA Distance and MPW Calculator" may be used - http://www.qsl.net/n9ssa/ or any other calculators.
Two 3-hours periods or one 6-hours period may be claimed for score. Mark the period(s) in the Contest Log.
The paper logs or e-logs must arrive at WQC Committee before March, 1 or September, 1. Cabrillo or text format files may acceptable. Summary sheet must include full name, call sign, category, mail and e-mail addresses, WW-locator, used equipment and antennas descriptions, for "Field" category notes about used power supply, the declaration about Contest Rules observance.

The personal memory certificates as *.jpg files will sent for all participants. The Winners of each category will receive a "hard" certificates.
